Competitive Travel Teams

Our competitive travel teams are for players that want to compete at a higher level than Parks & Rec. These teams will typically practice 2-3 times a week, depending on gym availability.

Throughout the season teams will travel to tournaments on the Western Slope, the Front Range, and Wyoming. MCYB will also host local tournaments throughout the season.

5th-8th Grade Girls Basketball.

The cost for the season is $200. This fee will cover uniforms, a shooting shirt, and registration in any tournaments. Scholarships are available.

Practice will be as follows:

5th-6th Grade Girls: 6:00 - 7:30 Tuesdays & Thursdays at Craig Middle School. (Parent meeting at 7:30 in the CMS Gym on the first day of practice, October 7th).

7th-8th Grade Girls: 6:45 - 8:30 Tuesdays & Thursdays in the MCHS Aux. Gym. (Parent meeting at 8:00 in the MCHS Aux Gym on the first day of practice, October 7th).

On October 18th, Coach Washington will be here to run a 1-day camp for all registered players at no additional cost. More details will be provided after the season begins.

Tentative game schedule:

Saturdays 10/25, 11/8, 11/22, and 12/6. We are hoping to host games at Moffat County High School. If we are unable to schedule enough games in Craig, teams may also travel to Wyoming or the Front Range to compete in tournaments. More information will be provided after the season begins.
